The full-back injured his hamstring during Aston Villa’s semi-final first leg against Middlesbrough and manager Steve Bruce admits he faces a race against time to be fit for Wembley on Saturday.
“The next 24-48 hours are crucial. He’s trained for the past two days. He could be in contention,” said Bruce.
“We’ll make a decision on Friday.”
